History of the place

Located 80 km north of the Tunisian coast, La Galite is a set of wild and uninhabited volcanic islands. It is a protected nature reserve, accessible only with special permits, often as part of research or diving expeditions. Its crystal clear waters are home to exceptional marine fauna and flora, including groupers and monk seals.
