The Waterfall of Aïn Draham
A hidden waterfall in the lush forests of Kroumirie, a touch of Switzerland in Tunisia.
History of the place
Aïn Draham, nicknamed 'Little Switzerland', is famous for its cork oak forests and red tile roofs. Less known is its network of streams and waterfalls. A hike through the forest leads to a magnificent waterfall, a secret place where fresh water flows all year round. The soothing sound of the water, the smell of the damp earth and the surrounding greenery offer a striking contrast with the rest of the country. It is the ideal place for a picnic, a refreshing swim or simply to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature.
